Prenax and Legal Library Services join forces
PRESS RELEASE
London May 6th 2008
Prenax Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the global subscription agency Prenax Global,
has acquired the shares of Legal Library Services Ltd.
“Today is an excellent day for the staff and clients of both Prenax and Legal Library
Services. The companies have each forged reputations for service excellence in the legal
sector and it makes perfect sense to join forces,” says Robbie Frazer, Prenax’s Managing
Director. “By combining our strengths we have created a partnership of best-in-class services
for books, loose-leafs and subscriptions supply to law firms and legal departments in the UK
and internationally. Both companies have won prestigious service awards in the last couple
of years so it’s a marriage of like-minds. Furthermore, with the continued development of
our electronic offerings as well as our state-of-the-art consolidation centres, Prenax is
now a true one-stop-shop for legal materials and content, support and advice.
Going forward, Legal Library Services will continue as before with all staff, premises and
client relationships remaining intact. The Legal Library brand will also be retained.
“Together with the acquisition of a company as strong as Legal Library Services with its
extremely talented and experienced workforce and incredibly loyal client-base, there also
comes a responsibility to protect and nurture those relationships that have made the brand
so powerful. With this in mind we will invest in the Yeovil and Singapore operations and
offer customers the extended range of services and technology we now have at our disposal,” says Frazer.
Brian Murray, Founder of Legal Library Services, adds: “We chose to work with Prenax because
they demonstrated two things: their commitment to invest in the company and the staff, and
their obsession with customer service excellence. I’m delighted that the company will continue
to prosper but especially proud that the clients will continue to work with their established
account managers. To combine this with being a part of a group that is going from strength to
strength means it’s an exciting time for all involved!”
The Prenax Group is a global business-to-business subscription management and business information
company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in 1993, Prenax provides services from 9
offices stretching from the USA across Europe to Asia-Pacific. The group has a turnover of $120m.
Legal Library Services, based in Somerset in the southwest of England, is a book, journal and

Prenax Punchout compatible with Oracle’s iProcurement
San Francisco, California – November 14, 2005
On Monday, November 14, 2005, Prenax received its first order via Oracle’s
iProcurement.
At the request of a major diversified technology and
manufacturing company (one of the components of the Dow Jones Industrial
average), Prenax enabled Prenax Punchout to be compatible with Oracle’s
iProcurement application.
Now employees can search Prenax’s catalog for
newspapers, magazines, memberships and journals, electronically taking their
purchase requests back through their company’s own, electronic approval flow.
Once a request has been approved, Prenax receives authorization to execute the
order on the employee’s behalf.
Like Prenax’s standalone application, Prenax Online, Prenax Punchout allows employees to:
Place new orders
Renew subscriptions electronically
Generate activity-based reports
Submit claims for missing or damaged issues
Make address changes and more
“By enabling Prenax Punchout to accept
orders from Oracle, Prenax has taken another major step toward streamlining the
purchase, approval and administration of subscriptions,” said Michael Sholin,
President of Prenax, Inc.
Oracle and iProcurement are the legal property of the Oracle Corporation.
Prenax, a B2B subscription management company, was founded in Stockholm, Sweden

97% of clients respondents rate Prenax either GOOD or VERY GOOD
December 13, 2004
Prenax is proud to announce that the results of its 2004 Client Survey
are in and Prenax has scored very well.
Recently, Prenax sent a survey to all of its clients. The intent
of this survey was two-fold:
To provide clients with a forum to voice their opinions and provide
improvement suggestions and,
To track Prenax's ongoing progress, especially since the 2003 survey.
Prenax is pleased to report an overall increase in client satisfaction.
In fact, four key indicators in the 2003 survey show that Prenax has improved,
on average, by 6% over 2003.
Putting subscription spend in the hands of end-users
San Francisco, California - September 1, 2004
A big problem for corporations is getting
purchasing decisions and administration in the hands of the subscribers. In
response, Prenax announces that its clients may now use e-procurement
technologies to manage their subscription spend.
On Friday, August 27,
2004, Prenax received its first order through iBuySmart, Ariba's e-procurement
application. By expanding on the current capabilities of Prenax Online, Prenax's
subscription management application, Prenax has improved its online capability
for managing renewals and administrative changes. "We already had a great tool
for managing subscriptions, it was just a matter of fusing the best of Prenax
Online's existing capabilities with the unique requirements of an end-user
environment," said Michael Sholin, President of Prenax, Inc. He went on to say
that the development process was, "a collaborative effort, including assessment
from the Corporate Library, Procurement and the IT Staff."
The first
Prenax client to utilize iBuySmart for placing subscription orders is one of the
world's leading investment banks, headquartered in New York City. "Engaging in
such a technically demanding project is always risky, but we knew that when we
provided a solution for the market leader, it would clearly demonstrate Prenax's
commitment to the corporate marketplace. At Prenax, the corporate market is not
an afterthought, it's our core client base," Michael went on to say.
Prenax is currently in the testing phase with its second client
scheduled for the e-procurement solution, a San Francisco-based brokerage firm.
